Photoshop is such a pig. We’re looking at a little app to do a few little things. Our clients would also like a simple tool to do some image work. We’ll let you know what we think soon. You’ll be able to buy it directly from the new App Store.
Wanna test it yourself without our two cents?
Read MoreThe long awaited Jambox arrived today. We opened the outer box to discover a shoebox inside. This was a sign of how small the actual device would be. The exterior was printed in one color blue. After a bit of examining we imagine that the packaging is color coded for the product colors offered.
It was great to see the reference to the ever popular cultural icon the boomboxon the shoebox cover with THAT WAS THEN. And when we opened the top THIS IS NOW.
The Jambox even looks smaller than you expect. But don’t be fooled; when you lift it out of the box its a substantial little box. It’s hefty weight gives you hefty sound. We couldn’t wait so we pulled out the little book and paired it up with our iPad in a jiffy. The Jambox talks to you and tells you it’s been paired. It’s a female voice — target market?
Opened up iTunes on the iPad and hit play on one of our lists. Oh, Baby! What sound.
While listening to the sound fill up the office we inspected the groovy led that lets you know it’s charging, charged, and paired with a device. It also has a mini usb charger, sorta strange gray color. Two usb cables, a long and short. We liked that. Often there is just too much cable and this gives you the option to keep it close to a power outlet without lots of extra to hide. We think it should have been black. It’s also got these rounded edges that seem strange for this sharp corner device. Details make the difference my friends.
Making up for the power charger is the speaker cable that came in matching blue and was coiled up in the packing in a beautiful way. Plug it into your headphones jack when you don’t want to go wireless. Last but not least a very nice black jacket to keep it from getting scuffed while traveling. You slide the Jambox in and tuck in the end tabs. No metal snaps or velcro make it oh so sweet.
We want one in every color.
The tagline: The biggest Sound in the smallest package. Rings true.
