Well this is our first shot so it may be a little rough.
Stay with us as we iron it out, debug, figure it all out.
Thinking out loud about the fact that The NYTimes has put it’s digital subscriptions plan into action. What’s that going to mean to all of us sharing links out here on blogs, Facebook, and twitter?
We guess all our links are for a limited time only.
Intrigued by the headline: El Salvador, Design Thrives. It was actually a little fluff piece as far as the writing went but with some photos worth looking at. Design is in the details and they are very nice details in this 1250 square foot space that is home and lab to the ideas of Harry and Claudia Washington.
It was a sad discovery yesterday when I found my iPod Shuffle in my cargo shorts that had just gone through the wash cycle. Loved that little clip thingie. Decisions decisions what to replace it with now. Another shuffle with voice control and 2 gigs of music for only $49 bucks. Color? Basic aluminum of orange?
The CIA on the ground in Libya? We’re shocked.
We’re looking to add a section of carpet to define a soft meeting space in the studio. Two possible solutions. A very nice black and white striped rug at IKEA. Or something more creative using Flor. Don’t know about Flor? Flor is perfect for someone who just can’t make up their mind. You buy squares and mix and match as you like. You connect the squares together using adhesive dots and you can hose it down for cleaning. Replace just the worn tiles. We can’t resist the amazing colors and textures and with a rug type called House Pet we’re all in. (BTW Flor really into sustainability but shouldn’t that a given?)
The USS Olympia is up for sale. The Olympia was commissioned in 1895 as one of the first warships designed for electricity. It’s the last surviving ship of the Spanish American War and it’s just a short walk from our studio. It’s a wonderful piece of history and design. Come see it at Penns Landing while you still have the chance. Here’s some wonderful pics.
